How it gets used
Time to charge the annual dues
You generate the batch with the members that qualify by category and status. Lapsed or exempt members stay out without checking one by one.
The bank returns six charges
You mark them and they show up flagged on each person's record. You know who to chase without cross-checking a statement by hand.
Someone asks if they're up to date
You open their record and see what they paid, when, and what's still outstanding, without digging through three files and an inbox.
Common questions
Does it connect to the bank?+
It depends on the bank. Generating batches and recording payments are covered; automatic connection is assessed case by case.
Can dues differ by category?+
Yes. Each category carries its own amount and frequency, and an individual can have exceptions when their situation calls for it.
