How it gets used
Someone wants to join
They fill in the form, the record is created with their category and consents, and the board sees the request without anyone typing it out.
A member changes bank account
They update it once and the next direct debit run goes through. No touching the treasurer's spreadsheet, no emails to anyone.
Time to prepare the AGM
You pull the list of who can vote based on category and payment status, with today's data rather than last year's.
Common questions
Can we store consents?+
Yes. Each record holds what the person consented to and when, which is exactly what you need when somebody asks why they get your emails.
What about people who leave?+
The record doesn't vanish: it keeps its status and history, so the next board understands what happened without having to ask.
